Carrie Hall RN, IBCLC
Postpartum Registered Nurse
Carrie is a native resident, raised in Issaquah, WA and now residing in Bellevue. "I love the mountains, the trees, the fresh air and the water, and feel very fortunate to live in this area with a large support system of friends and family over the years. I have watched the Eastside grow and change so much, and have met so many people who are transplants to Seattle thanks to large businesses in the area. As a postpartum and lactation nurse, I have met so many of these "transplant" families who find themselves alone with very little support after having a baby. And others that may have a support network, but still feel very "alone" or overwhelmed with the onset of motherhood, especially when challenges arise with breastfeeding. I want to not only support you along the way, but help you succeed in your breastfeeding journey, no matter what your goals are. Each mother/baby relationship is unique and my care is very individualized to support a plan that works for you & your family. I am honored to become a part of your "village" and help in any way I can with breastfeeding promotion, education, and lactation support both 1:1 and in the group setting, I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient lactation services, and I am so excited about joining the team at The Perfect Push to empower and support moms."

Angela graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle and has become known as one of Seattle's top lifestyle photographers. She loves being part of life changing moments and feels lucky to create images for people that will be shared and cherished for generations. Her love for shooting families began once she and her husband welcomed their first son Eli in 2009. She not only fell in love with being a mother, but became passionate about parenting and supporting the families around her. As their family grew in 2013 with the welcoming of their son Gus, so did Angela's desire to not only capture moments for her couple's, but to provide support to them. As a doula she is excited to help and watch families as they grow.
Melissa has lived in the Northwest for almost 20 years and believes in being healthy and happy no matter what you do. This started when she became a mother in 2007 and led to her passion and respect for women and families during their pregnancy and labor journeys. Being the mother of three wonderful kids, she has learned that we all need support in different ways and sincerely looks forward to helping, nurturing and supporting mothers, as well as their partners, as a Birth Doula.
“If there is one thing you can do RIGHT NOW to ensure your best birth experience, it’s this: Choose a care provider who is an EXPERT in the type of birth you are planning. If you are planning a safe, skilled cesarean birth, you should hire someone who is an expert at cesarean sections. You wouldn’t hire a doctor for a c-section who said, “Well actually I’m not really comfortable with that type of birth, but I’ll let you do it if you want, I suppose…” If you’re planning a safe, natural, unmedicated birth, you should hire someone who is an EXPERT at supporting natural birth. A doctor with a 30% c-section rate is not a natural birth expert. Neither is a doctor who does routine episiotomies, or doesn’t understand how to catch a baby unless mom is laying on her back. A doctor who says “Well, most of my clients do end up choosing an epidural, but if you want to go natural you can do that, I suppose…” When you find the right care provider, they will understand your birth plan before you even show it to them, because it’s what they already do EVERY DAY.” ~
I attended a q and a session with Rue from the perfect push. I found it very informative and helpful for me. I will definitely be using their services when I deliver in October.
