PALS Certified Birth Doula and HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator
I grew up as the second oldest of a lot of kids and by the time I was 21, I started my own journey into motherhood. But through my own experiences birthing my four children and the experiences of my friends and family, I found a severe lack of support in the prenatal, birth and postpartum periods. Specifically for births to be supported in the way the parents choose.
I always knew my work life was to be spent helping others, I just didn’t know what it would look like. I grew my skills in photography, graphic design, customer service, sales and contract writing in jobs many would scoff at, but little did I know at the time that those jobs brought me to a better place to do what I do now. After the birth of my third baby I decided to train as a doula to take part in making a difference for other families. Immediately, I’ve felt such wonderful fulfillment of making the experience to be as sacred and positive as it's meant to be.
I took advantage of the pandemic and certified as a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, as a non-clinical hypnotherapist, and then I officially certified as a birth doula with PALS Doulas. I’m investing my time in the birth community and finding more ways to cultivate meaningful relationships to provide a better service to the parents we serve. I've joined The Perfect Push to do just that.
In my free time I enjoy sleeping, spending time with my four kids, cooking and watching shows with my husband, and eating dark chocolate.
