BFA, CD (BADT)
Whitney has a BFA in photography and experience with 50+ births. Thanks in large part to her training with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings, her birth work is rooted in anti-racist action, reproductive justice and supporting your bodily autonomy. Hospital, home, or birth center - beautiful births happen everywhere! Whitney brings a deep commitment to honoring each person's unique history and birthing philosophy so her clients feel seen, heard and held during this pivotal experience.
After a chaotic childhood and difficult transition to motherhood, she has a particular interest in mindfulness, trauma prevention and trauma healing. She enjoys utilizing Spinning Babies to help clients achieve more ease in pregnancy and birth.
Aside from her stunning photographs in the birth space, Whitney is best known for her reassuring presence and ability to hold space for families navigating this intense period of life.
You can often find Whitney gardening, sleeping in, and binging true crime podcasts. In another life she would be a lounge singer or interior designer. She and her family (husband and three daughters) live in Shoreline, WA where they keep chickens, bees and a precious springer spaniel.
