The Perfect Push Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on spreading awareness of the maternal and child health crisis affecting women and children in communities of color, in the United States and around the world.
Healthcare – good healthcare – is a basic human right. And as the great Nelson Mandela said, “To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.”
The Perfect Push Foundation partners with local maternal-child health organizations and social services to promote and protect sustainable solutions that address maternal and infant morbidity and mortality in communities of color around the globe.
The Foundation will provide annual grants and scholarships to help students of color who want to pursue medical training that would decrease the maternal and infant mortality rate. We strongly believe that by increasing the number of providers from within, these communities have both the power and the ability to change the narrative and these statistics.
As the West African proverb goes: “Until the Lion tells the story, the hunter will always be the hero.”
