Kintea Bryant
Program Director
Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS)

Kintea is Program Director for PEPS, managing the programming, supervising staff, and building relationships with local non-profit organizations.

Kintea joined PEPS in 2016 with a profound love for babies and children. She joined the organization’s work, providing support to new parents and grow their reach to more communities around the Seattle area. Kintea’s professional experience includes working as an environmental educator at the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, and Education Director at Seattle Audubon. She also managed community programs at Bellevue College.

Kintea volunteers on several committees that keep her connected with her passion for youth, her love of birds, and the environment.

During her time working at PEPS, she’s learned much more about maternal health, specifically around maternal health outcomes for women of color, and more specifically black women. Gaining this knowledge has sparked a desire to try and do something to address this problem.

When she was asked to serve on The Perfect Push Foundation (TPPF) board, she felt that this was her opportunity to learn more about the disparities that impact women of color, not only in the U.S., but also around the world.

Ms. Bryant holds a BA in EPO Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a M.Ed. in Informal Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle University.

Ms. Bryant enjoys spending time with friends, traveling to see family, being very active in her church community, baking and cooking, and being outdoors.
