What clinical qualifications do your providers have?

Our care team is led by Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) with extensive maternal–child health experience. Lactation and postpartum care is provided by ARNPs, IBCLCs, and licensed clinicians.

Do your ARNPs prescribe medications?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ARNPs may prescribe medications related to lactation and postpartum needs, such as mastitis or breast infections. We never prescribe narcotics and do not prescribe medications for infants.

Can you treat mastitis and other lactation-related complications?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We evaluate and treat mastitis, clogged ducts, nipple infections, inflammatory breast issues, painful latch, milk supply concerns, and more. We coordinate with OB/GYNs or primary providers as needed.

Question 4

What types of lactation concerns do you manage?

We support latch and positioning challenges, weight gain issues, pumping difficulties, supplementation guidance, low or high milk supply, oral restrictions, painful breastfeeding, and weaning support.

Question 5

Do you offer prenatal consultations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Prenatal consultations include birth preparation, feeding education, newborn care fundamentals, postpartum expectations, and individualized planning.

Do you offer postpartum support?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide postpartum check-ins, feeding evaluations, recovery support, and ongoing follow-up for as long as needed.

Do you communicate with referring providers?

Yes. With patient consent, we send visit summaries, assessment findings, treatment recommendations, and follow-up updates for coordinated care.

Do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

Insurance for lactation consulting and phototherapy services will be available by February 2026. We do not accept insurance for postpartum care, newborn care, newborn care specialist services, or doula support. FSA/HSA cards are accepted.

What areas do you serve?

We serve families across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area and surrounding communities. Some services are also available virtually.

What is your response time for referred patients?

Most referrals are seen same day or next day, depending on clinical urgency.

Do you provide emergency services?

Accepted Answer

No. Families are instructed to contact their pediatrician, OB provider, or emergency care for urgent concerns
